The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” Bukhari & Muslim
“Whoever spends the nights of Ramadan in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” Bukhari & Muslim
“Whoever does not give up false statements (i.e. telling lies), and evil deeds, and speaking bad words to others, Allaah (The Most High) is not in need of his (fasting) leaving his food and drink.” Bukhari
We wish all the Muslims the best of Ramadan and hope that we all can use this opportunity to increase our imaan and improve our relationship with Allaah, The Most High.
