Roger Federer defeated home favourite Gael Monfils in straight sets 6-4 6-3 7-6 (7-3) to tee up a mouth-watering semi-final against Novak Djokovic at the French Open 2011.
“It was such a close match, To win against the number one player of the world in a tie-break in the third set, it’s just incredible. This is one of the best matches I’ve played in a while. I was able to find my rhythm at the end of the first set, and then throughout the whole second and third set I played quite well, especially on my service games.” said Djokovic

Novak Djokovic cemented his year with a superb 4-6 6-3 6-2 victory over world No. 1 Rafael Nadal in the final of the Masters Series event at Indian Wells on Sunday.
“He had an unbelievable tournament and deserved to win, Hopefully I’ll come back and have more chances in the future.” said Murray
